The letterpressed beach bungalow wedding invitation was a special design for us. It was done for some of our favorite people. One of our friends from grade school was planning her destination wedding in Hawaii and asked if we would make her invitations. Of course, we jumped at the opportunity to make something new.

The bride asked for something that would go well with the Hawaiian vibes of the wedding but still be simple and elegant. We set out to design something that was almost solely a text design with just a touch of something that could help bring in the theme. When the bride mentioned the use of a little beach hut graphic it was the perfect fit to the text layout we had already created.

The 5×7 letterpressed invitation is printed on Cranes lettra 220lb florescent white cotton paper. We used a hand mixed army green and a cool grey rubber based ink. The RSVP card and the itinerary pieces are both printed using the same inks but on a lighter, 100lb cotton paper. The invitation suite is complete with a taupe colored envelope with green letterpressed return address. The invitation envelope has a custom, digitally printed, palm leaf designed liner.
