This black & white lace letterpress wedding invitation suite was designed for a bride and groom getting married in central California. The venue was a beautiful outdoor location, complete with twinkle lights and white roses. The couple was planning a very classic and elegant wedding and requested an invitation to match. We chose to design the invite package in black and white to keep it simple and elegant. The design on the top of the invitation is a floral lace pattern that was printed using an embossed technique with no ink, allowing the texture to be felt and seen but very subtly. Other details on the accompanying pieces were emboss printed as well to tie everything together. The rest of the text was printed in a solid black. The entire suite was finished off with matching black envelopes, pressed with a silver ink for the return address.

This letterpressed wedding invitation suite is pressed with a black hand-mixed rubber based ink on pearl white cotton paper. The lace design and titles on the RSVP and map cards are pressed with no ink leaving a clean and classic impression. The invitation is printed on 220lb cotton paper and the RSVP and map are printed on 110lb cotton paper.
