The couple we designed this wedding invitation for were married in October in Temecula California at Lake Oak Meadows. The month of this wedding and the beautiful outdoor venue played a part in inspiring the fall tree design of this invitation package.

The  invitation features an oak tree and falling leaves, which were pressed with white ink on pearl white paper resulting in a subtle design element. The leaf design was then carried over onto the RSVP card. The text on each piece was printed using a combination of copper and chocolate brown hand mixed inks. The square invitation was then mounted to a mettalic copper paper and into a cream colored pocket folder.  The particulars card, the chocolate brown RSVP envelope and the RSVP card were layered in the pocket, each one designed at a size that would result in a staggered look in the folder. The entire package closed cleanly in the pocket folder and was wrapped with burlap and brown ribbons, topped with a monogramed letterpressed seal and a copper leaf.
